If the video card is on the list, but the problem persists, please contact the system manufacturer to obtain the latest DirectX 8.1 compatible software drivers for the video card. If the video card in the computer is not on the list, then Morrowind will not function properly. The list above reflects cards that have been tested and are known to work. Since the above list was complied many new cards have come on the market. Morrowind only supports video cards using the chipsets listed below. If the True Color 32-bit option is not present, the video card in the system is most likely not supported by Morrowind.Click the Apply button and restart the computer if prompted.In the Display Properties window, click the Settings tab. Click the down arrow by Colors select the True Color 32-bit option. In the Control Panel window, click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display.Once the Display properties appears, click the Settings tab.In the Control Panel, double click the Display icon.Click Start, Settings, then Control Panel.Use the steps below to change the desktop to this setting.
Morrowind requires the Windows Desktop to be set at the True Color 32-bit setting.
